Are you the last year graduate?

Took the same lift with one of the lecturers. At first, I noticed that he kept looking at me, so I tried to keep my head bowed down.

Just before the lift opened the door at the ground floor, I looked up and he was still staring at me. Then finally he spoke,"Are you the last year graduate? Hui... Hui.. Hui..." He stammered a bit while trying to recall my name.

I was very taken aback as I have never seen this lecturer before in my entire three years in SP, yet he could recognize me and even remembered half of my name! But I quickly smiled and responded,"Yes, I am Hui Yin".

So after the lift door opened and we two walked out, he asked me the typical question that people usually ask when they saw me.

This small incident really made my day. It's almost one year since the graduation but students and lecturers are still able to recognize and remember me when they see me in campus.
