Sushi Buffet!

Hoang brought us (the SG exchange students) to this sushi restaurant called Fuku in Helsinki.

It was one of the best meal we ever had in Finland too! For 20 euros, we were entitled to a wide variety of Sushi and Sashimi (okie, i dun really eat raw food so i dun really know how to spell this term), desserts, main dishes such as fried Udon, Tampura, Pork with Veggies etc, free flow salad as well as Drinks (coffee, tea). The Sushi were arranged in such an appetising way that I've nv seen such beautiful layout in any Jap rest in SG.

This rest was ironically operated by vietnamese and they are doing really well now as this is their second rest in Helsinki. The rest was very crowded at 7pm and many had actually reserved the place. Surprisingly, a lot of Fins came and patronize this small restaurant.

We ate from 6pm till 8pm till none of us can take it anymore.

But well, something not very pleasant happened to one of our members here. I think she ate too much and perhaps was sensitive to the buffet that she had such a bloated stomach that was only on the left side. She was feeling very uncomfortable and such, we sent her to the 24/7 clinic nearby.

We waited for her for almost an hr and a half at the clinic. she did felt better after that but she had to do a blood test. The analysis was carried out on the spot so we all had to wait. During the wait time, her friend called up their insurance company to ask if they could claim for this incident. Luckily they could as the medical bill came to as high as 150 euros. yes, medical expenses in Finland is rather high.

Thank goodness she got better after the clinic visitation.
