Coming to exchange has made me appreciate singapore even more and most importantly, made me proud to be a Singaporean. many friends here heard of this small Island of us and they are actually keen to come to Singapore to study but our education fee is too expensive for them.
no doubt i am proud to be a Singaporean but in terms of education, i don't enjoy myself there. frankly speaking, i quite like finnish edu system and it just led me to have the thought to further studies overseas after my degree in ntu. well, it's still too early to determine or fix any thing now... just a random thought. the greatest hurdle is to graduate from ntu now lol!
Yes, i am really happy when my international friends made the effort to remember my chinese name and pronounce it correctly even though i gave them the option of calling my initial.
