It is also the first orientation programme for international and exchange students.
Basically, we were introduced to the school and their culture.
the most interesting i learnt from this session was that when finnish class states it starts at 10. it doesnt start at 10, it will always be an academic quarter of an hours, starting at 10.15. it is like the unspoken rule.
I did my first venturing out to Ikea alone! Got holland along the way but i was never afraid of holland as i dare to ask the locals around for the right directions >.< i am so proud of myself but as i got to lug around that bulky mattress that the school allowed me to get reimburse due to the dirty mattress i have complained. hee... so i could shop long arounnd ikea area.
Finally i was able to do up my room and make it feels homely :)
so proud of myself for cleaning the toilet myself, changing the room's curtain... etc... i think my mum will love me so much if i were to continue to do so in SG. but hahas.. that is unlikely though :P hahas... here is bo bian... this makes me appreciate my mum even more for the work she did at home. it is really tiring.... and back aches :( Thanks Mum.
i had a first good night sleep! :D
