First Day:
Attended 4 hours of integrated engineering and my group was frantically trying to troubleshoot our unworking circuit, but we could not detect any problem with our design. even our lecturer also can't detect it. it's either we perservere to track down the short circuited part or we come up with a new design.
a funny incident: rahman did not bring his soldering iron holder and left his hot soldering iron on the table. when siva and i were discussing about the failed circuit, i asked him why was there a burning smell. hahas..siva looked around and saw rahman's soldering iron burning nigel's paper design. luckily it was just a small corner of the paper. =X
Second day:
Had practical session in the morning on voltage regulator. the most stupid thing my partner and i did was to mess up the three pins of the voltage regulator and we burnt the chip in the end. at first, i was asking what was that burnt smell. hahas.. this was so stupid! our lecturer immediately asked if we had connected wrongly when we detect the burnt smell.
Third day:
The day before the year of 2009 arrives!
also a good way to end my lesson of the year! was having my favourite PEEE from 8.30 to 10.30. the few of us were disussing if it was a half day when it was confirmed by my classmates that yes, there was no afternoon lesson. means no GEMs today. so i went to find my aunt for a hair cut which was insisted by my mum.
