World Play Day 31st may 08 Sat

Yeap! world play day! that's the cip activity that the whole cls intended to do together. but end up, a few back out last min, some got other activities. jolene went for a camp, end up i was the only girl. but it was fun, coz i girl so i was assign to help out at the registration counter. =)

These are my classmates. the guy with something in his mouth is a wacky guy, ben. mixed blood, frm france. very wacky and funny. hahas.. but sometimes also headache arh. the one beside me is the class rep, rahman. the indian guy is siva while the white guy next to him in black specs is nigel.

Registration counter. i'm suppose to chop, give out stickers and goody bags.
Goodness, at 9, the crowd started to come in. ran out of goody bags. have to get the guys to run up and down to carry more goody bags down. suddenly there's this kindergarten which got 39 ppl in all. so wow! we tell them we'll pack their goody bags one side and give it to them later. thanks God zheng jie and francis helped to count and pack the goody bags. so ya, each goody bag cost 2 dollars. inside there'sa soft toy, drinks, milo, towel and biscuits. hahas..a lot came to change for the bear bear inside coz most of the goody bags got different bear bear. saw an ultraman charmander soft toy. damn cute! hahas. ben immediately chop the charmander. others guys also later chop for their soft toys. hahas... damn funny. but i sian liao, maybe last yr i'll fight for the cute soft toys. now u give me i also wun wan.. hse too small, also dunno where to put.
this is the ice cream vendor that is parked in front of the registration counter. heheh.. an uncle treat me and the registration staffs from ymca an ice cream each. very nice of him. imagine us busy doing the work, each with an ice cream cone in our hands. hahas..wwas quite a funny sight. had to finish it quickly if not the ice cream start dripping =X

Yup, so thats where the stalls were set up. basically children get to play traditional games like chong kat, five stones, rubber band skipping rope.

there's actually a korean martial show at the auditorium. haiz, didn't have the chance to catch it. =((

overall, it was a meaningful morning spent. it's very touching when the mentally disabled received the goody bag from you and thank you sincerely. it feels so good =) reminded me of the cambodian kids again. hai...wish to see the kids soon =)
