First day as a DASE student

Ring~ Ring~ Ring~

As usual, the alarm rang.
Lazily, i stretch out my hands to smack the alarm clock.
Was about to went back into lala land
but i jumped up right away.

"Dover, Dover! you're gg to Dover huiyin. no more running to yj le!"
i suddenly remebered.

Carrying out the normal routine however i went to pick out my own clothing instead of the standard uniform.

strangely, i didn't feel very nervous. just don't know why.

took a train to jurong. then i understand what karen mean for peak period.
working ppl and students were like crowding hungrily near the yellow line for the train.
unfortunately, i didn't get to pack into the first train. but the second train came shortly and i managed to squeeze in.

Saw a security in white (kind of unused, cause i often see yj security uncle in blue). the security uncle here is also friendly.
i asked him where is the convention centre and he patiently pointed it to me until he makes sure i knew where it is. nice uncle =)

Hah, managed to find my way there. mum called..
"ah girl, you got get affected by the train? coz some one just jump off the track"

i replied:
"wah! really arh?! but no leh, i manage to arrive dover smoothly."

managed to locate my class. 1b/22.

then i went inside the convention hall.
sat beside a girl, but she doesn't look friendly. i didn't want to make myself an irritant, so i kept quiet.

Principle talk, managing director, breaks, cip talk, library talk etc. you name it, they have it for freshmen.

soon after the talk, went back to configuration and managed to change my laptop into a new one. cannot really stand the high pitch sound from the previous one. thanks sherry for staying with me.

i grabbed a burger from mac before i rush off for my next programme.

was in a real panick when i didn't know where i was and time was running out.

i asked around but different people told me different direction. so i was practically walking around the big campus like a fool.

thank God, i managed to asked a first yr media and it lady who offered her help to bring me to the location.

so i managed to find T1475. walked up the stairs to the 7th floor although there's a lift there. haha..stupid. climb finish then saw the lift.

met the only other girl in my class. name was jolone. stays in yishun but then she also got her clinques to hang out with.

my personal tutor, mr teo (kind of surprise to know this). he was kind of cute and exaggerating. was kind of surprise that he kept on mentioning about gg to university after diploma. then wanted us to get this big fat text book on electic circuits to better prepare us for the lessons.
taught us how to make good use of the school website.

we were released earlier as the class is co operative. then i realise how flexible the time table can be in poly.

oh ya, realise there are may parties being organised by sp.

first would be the one in concourse after the flagday itself. maybe will end all the way to 11 plus.

second would be the one in mos. where all sp staff and student get to have free entry to mos on a friday night in april.

will be considering whether to go not. after all, i didn't make much friends today.

kept on wondering what is happening in 201. seems like there are some interesting things that happened today. hope to hear from them more =D
