Ubin

3rd march, tues.

Finally i get to go back to ubin after one year. okie, i've only been there 3 times but on the 4th time (which is this trip) i get to know ubin better. all these i must thank CF's friend for bringing us around the ubin island and introducing the different interesting places.

well, the day didn't start well initially. the moment we alight the ferry at ubin jetty, it started pouring. we got no choice but to seek shelter first. this was followed by an awkward silence... hahas... i saw a group of sp students going there too. base on what they brought, i think it's more like a training camp bah. hahas.. i saw a familiar face among the group of sp student. so ya, it was raining very heavily. i was praying super hard that i told the Lord that if the rain manage to stop or get lighter soon, i'll go back and do quiet time that night. and yes, the rain did get lighter and as usual, went to rent the bike from the same bicycle rental shop. rented the 6 bucks one and i dare say the bike is much more better than the one in east coast.

we cycled through the muddy trails and with the light rain we soon got all our backs, hair and bags splashed with mud. but the trails was fun and exciting. got to be extremely carefully too. our first stop was the chek jawa. man, this is gonna be so embarrassing but ya, actually for the past few trips to ubin, i've been to chek jawa, but never did i know it was called the chek jawa! LOL! hahas... went to climb this tall tall wooden building. was already tired, but when i tot of the nice sceneries i'm going to see when i get there, i hang on. hahas... have to admit am old le... was panting heavily when riding uphill. didn't have this problem when i was cycling there two years ago. hahas.

next, we visited two beaches. i only know one of the beach name, which is the notting beach. will go check out the other one from the brochure later =P the most memorable one is the quarry which CF's friend brought us to. but before that, we got to climb up a 3 level hill. wooo.... tiring but the reward was great. hope to visit there again soon. =)

oh ya, went to find the wild boar. but i guess the wild boar is a different one le bah. and the pig style was super stinking too. hahas. not many pets this time as compared to two yrs ago.

well well, hope to be there again with the 201 girls next time =)
