Days of pain and torment and it's due to dengue!
Wah thanks man... i thought i have recovered from one week of fever.. only to find my right eyesight distorted thereafter.
Got recommendation by family doc to go down to A&E for my vision problem yesterday night.
We spent a total of 4 hours in ttsh... it was only around midnight that we left and I was yet given another day of MC to go for further diagnosis today.
The doc suspected my vision was caused by dengue... even though fever has subsided.. they could still do a blood test to check it out.
Alas! it truly is and I am the rare few whose dengue has obscure my vision.
My sis got dengue a few years back and her vision was also affected. seems like our genes are prone to it.
now living with a damage right eye... chances of recovery..50%. doctor... it's comforting to know that... but i am praying for full recovery... aka a miracle... my eyes are my greatest assert and i really don't want to live the rest of my life with one side vision hindered.
