hi guys! it's been more than 2 mths since i last updated. very sorry, has been packed with school work and activities in this 1 semester of 2 yr.
hmmm.. let's see what my sem has for me in this module... 2 nd yr le, so all basics are taught in 1 st, here come all the challenging modules. two module on aircrafts and one on mircocontroller technology and a more advanced structure programming, object oriented programming.
two aircraft modules... aircraft electrical fundamentals and aircraft servomachanism. the first module introduces to us the different component of aircrafts and we get to explore the Cessna -an aircraft in SP. a lot of memory work involved. then the second one is more on amplification of electrical signals in aircrafts. more on op amp used as differentiator and integrator. now, i've a common topic with my uncle who graduated in NUS some 10 yrs ago as an engineer. hahas... this is the first time i really talk to him a lot of stuffs, abt my sch work, abt electronics and physics. C++ programming is an unavoidable topic among engineers i suppose? hahas.. normally when serving an engineer passenger in airport, we would talk a lot of C++, ironically, it's something that i dun really like =S hahas... but then it is quite an impt subject in elect engineering. so will try hard to love this subject.
ah.. microcontroller.. it an embedded chip in handphone, camera, washing machine, cars, laptop. a single chip computer in lay man term. perhaps some of u guys have come across it as it is a very common chip in the elect market products. also have a lot to deal with programming too =X
as for engineering maths, it's more on JC topic.. such as int by parts. wah sian! i can nv be good friend with this topic..
currently, have been bombarded by 4-5 projects at hand and a very bird module... abt reasoning... it's offered by sch of communication, arts and social science(CASS). always a killer module for engineering students lor even though my friend frm CAsS find it easy. but i suppose there's a reason why we chose science to language right? hahas.. seems like the sch is trying to make us an all rounder? hahas.. but then this module... haiz... shan't comment too much... coz all these shall be my bias comments =P
after this semester will be my 6 wks of industrial training. hope it will be fun, fulfilling and enriching.
for now, jia yous jia yous! a few more wks to end this hectic semester!
noticed there have been three major aircraft accidents in a short period this yr. it's quite shocking. did they manage to locate the blackbox of air france aircraft in the end? =X
oh ya, just wondering any liverpool fans out there? hahas.. my family is gg to national stadium to support.. actually is my dad bah.. a supporter of liverpool.. he was quite disappointed that he did not manage to buy the more premium seats... but in total he bought 4 tickets. just my parents plus my two siblings gg.
just wondering, when will national stadium be tear down and rebuild? =X
