Half of the week...

Let me talk about today-wednesday.

hmmm...typical wednesday is a very slack day and yet a day i look forward to in the evening. hahas... why slack? cox it's just PEEE lecture and tutorial all the way. hmmm.. then at 1 pm got this general elective module to attend. for this, i took up the knowing our temperament blend. so ya, basically just go there, sit down and listen to the lecture. i kind of know myself better and i master a bit of the skill to analyse ppl and why they act that way. seems fun to me. now i look at ppl, they are not merely just a human being to me. i'll try my best to categorise them into the various temperament blend. so far, i've yet to discover which temperament goes well with which. was kind of keen on tt topic. hahas.

during lunch, i saw this mini pasar malam at food court 2. so i kaypo go there see. saw this stall that sells all japanese branded snacks. i think the nice and cute packaging really caught my eye. i just paid 4 dollars for these two bar of sweets. hell...kana corn by that person sia...i went to another nearby stall, only to see that they sell at $1.60! was damn mad..den that person was like persuading me to buy 5 bars of her sweet and give me one free bar. i was like...so ya... if buy five get one free... one would be around $1.60 sia. but who the hell will spend ten bucks on sweets sia. thses two bars of sweet itself cost more than my lunch today!

Now, will jump back to monday. a typical monday would be the four hours engineering workshop. had it not been for the lecturer, this workshop would be even better. lol! hahas... k lah, below is the level detector board which i design the circuit and eventually solder them out on the stripboard. wow! nv would i realise that i had actually built a circuit board on my own sia. one of my biggest achievements in life. see the E displayed on the LED at the 3rd board on the right? hahas..it display empty. as i play around with the potentiometer on the first board, see the blue blue colour component on the first board? the led will then change its display output from E (empty) to L (Low) then to H (high) and eventually F (full). but then the process of designing was hell! i actually re solder and redesign more than ten times to get this three board done. but then, yup, it's good lah actually. my soldering skills and wire cutting skills are better now.

Here's a mini clip of the working board. when each level is hit, the three LED also light up accordingly =)

During Digital electronic lab. we were told to design stop watch that count up to 60 seconds. below is a sample board that we use to connect our gates to construct our 60 sec display on the LED. hmmmm... perhaps now i know how stop watch function. the most challenging part now is to think of ways to add in the star/stop and the reset button. am still thinking of the layout. the lecturer wun even give us any hint sia until the next lab session which was like still one wk away.

and ya, will nv walk to foodcourt 6 at business block to have my lunch. seriously, i wonder how the ppl there, esp the boys survive on small protions of food sold by the vendor there? for three dollars, u can usually eat till u're full in the food court near engineering as compared to the yar.... hahas.
